  3. Any b/w shot with a zebra in it is cool and this one is extra cool.

    • I’ve always said I wanted to shoot a zebra in black and white. 🙂

Lovely picture with wonderful contrasts. Can I ask where it was taken – would have thought that putting a rhino ans zebra in such close proximity would not be a good idea. I live in Chester, UK which is home to one of the biggest zoos in Europe – had to be evacuated at the weekend as the chimps made a bid for freedom. Thanks too for your kind comments on my waterfall picture – much appreciated

    • This was taken at the Virginia Zoo (U.S.). Apparently these two are very close, always hanging out together. Not sure how normal that is, however.

The capture of the reflection MAKES this photograph.

    • I agree. The reflection, especially on the zebra, came out nicely.

  7. Now that’s really an “odd couple”. Very nice pairing and captured very nicely. Excellent!

    • They are, but they apparently love each other’s company.

They both posed for you quite nicely. =)
I really like that you focused on them and their reflections and cut out the skyline. I think if you had the sky, it would have taken the focus away from the reflections.
