This sure gives a colorful vibrant feel for a B&W shot. Nice!

it makes me think of shadows on the desert. I love how something as simple as blinds can look so stunning.

Love the abstract-ness of this image. Some images you look at for a couple of seconds and say OK, I get it and move on. This is one you linger over, putting it together as you study the image. Nice job.

I love this shot it is just magical how it captures the textures so amazingly.
Postscript: I live in Ilford where the company Ilford photo was first set up.

Phoenix – I think so. Thank you. 🙂
Elizabeth – You know, in color, this abstract seems too cool in tone. In black and white, it really works. Thanks.
Ed – Thanks. That’s why I posted a link to a larger version – so you could really take it in. The smaller version really doesn’t do it justice.
Poet – You live in Ilford! Sweet. I’ve always wanted to shoot Ilford in Ilford – you know, just to say I did. :p

Really gorgeous stuff here. I love this one and several others, X-Ray Leaves, for example. The blinds seem like I can reach out and touch them. Wish I could find some like that.

Bones – I knew it was a good idea to include a link to a larger version. Thanks. 🙂

I never imagined window blinds as a good subject. This pic is great! Hope you don’t mind if I try this. 🙂
