This is cute, and well-lit, and well-focused, and just super fantastic all together. his beady eye is fascinating.
I always thought that a bird like this one would only look good shot in colour, but you pulled it off my friend

It probably would look nice in color. She has a light yellow face with bright orange cheek patches.

Trust me, she’s almost never in her cage. She has a lot of freedom. I just put her in there so I can take the photos. She’s spoiled rotten.

Beautifully executed and Sweetpea is lovely. Out of context, it is a very powerful and emotive image with a message about animals kept in cages. The shadow of the bars on the feathers is very poignant. Wonderful art!
