The Womb

The Womb. (Ilford Delta 100. Nikon F100. Noritsu Koki.)
This is part of a larger sandsculpture by the American artist Dan Belcher. It was entered in the North American Sandsculpting Championships, held last month in my hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

This is just one small part of the sandsculpture. The whole thing is probably six feet by six feet. Not as big as some of the other entries, but definitely pretty large.
